4x4 low range light on in 4x4 hi

I have a 00 f-150 4.6 when i engauge 4 hi my low range light is on and stays on is there a reset switch its driving me crazy

It very well could be the motor is moving too far, a short in the wiring, a bad spot in the contactor plate, or some other gremlin.... it's a tough one to troubleshoot remotely without some more info.
