Door is Ajar
One of the door switches (possibly the driver side) is faulty or mabe a logic problem on my father in laws '04 f150 super crew.
He says with the doors shut good the door ajar notice and dome / cargo lights will be on.
If the key is turned off and then on again the problem goes away!
Any clues will be helpful.
I'm assuming the doors have a proximity switch somewhere that can be tested?

This is the first one I have seen on a '04+, but the previous ( 99-03 ) had a problem where the door switch would get crapped up, and stop working.
Not having seen it, I would say try the WD-40 trick in the door latch where the switch is, and see if that does it for fixing the door adjar problem.
