Battery Light

Puzzled!! I notice that when I punch the gas to pass another vehicle, or get out of a mud hole, that my battery light comes on for a brief second and then goes off. Is this just the extra rpms to the alternator or is it a warning of bad things to come? Thanks. bye the way i have no dimming in my lights nor do i have a low or bad battery.

I'd take it up to an autopart store and have them run a diagnostic on the battery and alternator,,,, one or the other (or both) may be on their way out.

Could be your drive belt slipping for a moment. May need replacing with a Goodyear Gatorback. Mine would slip for a moment on startup.

Your alternator is on the way out. It needs to be replaced.
