I have a 97 F150 and recently the wipers quit working. Just stuck in the up position dead as can be.

I have searched the past threads extensively.
Some people mention a multifunction switch in the steering column. Some mention the stalk switch where you turn them on but that problem is usually for them turning on and off for no reason. Others mention the motors themselves.

Any direction on this problem? My brother in law is a mechanic and has the truck at his house also putting a new a/c compressor on it. He's trying to work on the wipers too but is doing his best to troubleshoot it with little success.

Any help would be appreciated!
