Lookin for a picture.

Does anyone have a picture of the license plate lights on their F-150's?? I have a 97, and it never had the housing, just the socket and bulb so i just wanted to see what they look like. Thanks.

What housing are you talking about? On the back there is no housing, it just bolts up to the rear bumper, and on the front, there is a plastic thing on the front bumper that the plate screws into, but I cut it off because I didn't want a front plate.

I'm talkin about the housing for the lights that shine on the rear license plate. Right now, mine is just a bulb in a socket, the housings that stick out are gone.

they just clip into the bumper and then the bulb clips in to that from behind. the one on the left fell out and is held in with JB Weld.

I'd need to make a clip of it, but I probably could email it to you. PM me your email.

I try and send you a picture asap.
I just replaced the bulbs in my 1997 f-150.
They are tricky to replace but the housings are pretty simple.
You can see an illustration in your owners manual though.

I'll get back at you in a couple days with those pictures.
