Odometer flickers and wipers turn on by themselves

Hey all,

I read by searching that flickering lights on the odometer was cause by a faulty board. Would this board also cause my wipers to come on by themselves at any given time. It's usually only one swipe and then they stay off for a few miles then another swipe. Wipers function normally when using control switch.

Thank you for reading and any help you might offer.

The wipers may have a bad switch or the contacts may have some dirt in them.Get some contact cleaner and spray your switch. your faulty board will be something else to deal with on finding were it's bad.

The wipers will be caused by the multifunction switch. The infamous ghost wipers have struck again.

The ODO flickering is a bad circuit board in the instrument cluster. I know there are some shops that are able to fix these now instead of replacing the entire gauge cluster.... search for it and you'll find the info around here.
