Question on Alternator Selection

I have had trouble with my battery going dead a couple times. I replaced the battery in the summer, but I still had it go dead a couple times. I never noticed a battery light on the dash.

Last night, I shut off the car after a 1 hour ride home. As soon as I turned the key, everything went dead. Not even the door locks would work. I let the truck sit overnight and checked the battery in the morning. It was at 11.8 volts. I am charging the battery now and will check the voltage once the truck is running again.

I started preparing for an alternator replacement and looked up a few prices. I have a 2001 F150 SCREW with 70K miles. Would it be any benefit to get the 130 amp replacement vs the 95 amp? Also, is it recommended to replace the pulley? Thanks!

I installed a 130 amp because of an aftermarket stereo systems with amps and extra lights. I got my alternator on ebay from this guy:

brandnew with not dust or dirt on them. Came with a 6rip pulley so you may need to reuse your old one.
