headlights/bulbs

OK Is there an easy way to change the drv side bulb in a 2001 F150? I got the right side in with no problem but the drv side is a pain in the ***, I got these Xeon bulbs off of ebay and to get the drv side bulb installed is FUKED or am I just a retard? Do I need to remove the rad fluid tank? WTF?

DUDE????

Pull the light out?

Look for these 2 tabs and pull them up.

Then the head light should just slide straight forward.

Then you can easily change the bulb.

when you put it back in, make sure you have the 3 little pegs lined up in the rails correctly.

Shouldnt require any tools and it will only take about 5 minutes.

If you have trouble getting the head lights out or back in, Then try removing the corner lens as well. It will help.

To remove the corners, just take out the 1 screw holding it in.

this screw is located right about here

then just pull it out "Forward".

I hope that helps.

Most of the time Ford has this URL working.

Go to :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp

and pull down a pdf version of your manual for your year truck.
