I was wondering if the new 04 & up F150's came with an engine bay work light (courtesy lamp)? My 05 F150 STX doesn't seem to have one, does anyone else have this problem? Was this an option or only on higher-end models?

My '01 F150 base model had an engine bay light......weird.

 

The 2004+ don't have engine detail lights. I've got a 05 FX4 and it doesn't have one either.

 

If you are interested in adding one, do a search on the subject, I recall that some guys had added them.

I don't need to add one, but just figured it would have come with one. Hopefuly I won't be needing one. I guess the guys w/ moded engines only show them off in the daylight?
