Question Gauges maxed out?

Yesterday I decided to clean up my truck. Swept it out, armor alled, etc. and it took me about 2 hours. After I finished I started it, their was a slight hesitation, then it fired and all my gauges (speedo, rpm, heat, voltage, etc.) all maxed out for a couple seconds then went back to normal? I did not do anything to the engine and it started fine when I pulled it into the garage. I did have a diskman cd player running the entire time, but I do not think that would make a difference???

I have had this happen before, but usually after a vacation and it has not been started in a week. Amy suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated.

There were two identical questions last week.

1. Check your charging system.
2. Replace battery.

The sweeping gages indicate low battery voltage.

since you had the doors open and the radio on, i bet you just drained down the battery a little. i wouldn't worry about it.
