I am repairing a damaged 04 Scab. One of the 4 reverse sensors in the rear bumper is messed up and where I live, very expensive. Can I eliminate one and have the system still function? How would I go about that?
I have tried simply disconnecting it but that didn't do it.

No, the system will not work if one (or more) sensors is not responding.
