Bulb Type for Cluster (already seached)

Does anybody know the bulb type for the instrument cluster illumination in a '97? I seached the forum but the only reference began with something like, 'I'm not sure, but I think it is....(this type)'. All the lights have been burnt out in mine for quite some time and my Dad's only has one left. I would like to purchase the bulbs prior to spending half the day dismantleing the dash. Also, how many are in the XLT cluster with tach and guages?

Thanks!

I replaced a few in my cluster, and they were standard 194 type.

You need to remove the whole Cluster, and replace the bulbs from the back. It is not that hard to remove, just a bunch of screws. If you have a haynes or other service manual it will describe how to remove it.
