I remember a thread that had instructions and photos on how to install DRL's does any one know where it is at?
I beleave it was just a relay and a resister that needed to be installed with no wire cutting is this true?
I would like to do this to my truck a 2003 super crew.

also does anyone know if a switch can be installed to disable the passenger side air bag? I know some trucks have it. is it a matter of just installing the switch into a plug that is already in th harness?

I ordered one from the FORD parts dept and didn't have time to install it so I had them do it.I was going to check to see if I had the places to put the relay and a resister but didn't take the time to check for them.The one they sold me you have to hook up to some wires under the dash and if you want it off 1 click of the parking break turns it off.I think it was about $75 for it,there was only a few wires to hook up.It works great for me. Labor cost was about $100,they also installed my FORD GOLD remote start so I figured a DRL would be easy for them to do.

what part of Pa are you from?

 

on my 99 i have a key switch to turn off the passenger air bag. I'm sure you could wire one up the same way.
You can see in this pic the switch under the right air vent.
