Seatbelt Warning Sound

I just bought an 06 F150...is there anyway that you can disable the annoying tone that goes on and on and on if you don't put your seatbelt on? Surely somebodys looked into it....

The owner's manual tells exactly how to disable the tone - it is in the section on occupant protection systems. You can disable each front seat, or just one or the other.

The Owner's Manual shows you one way - to disable it. The other way might be to actually buckle your seat belts.

Yes, its always good to buckle your safety belt. But there are times when I'm driving slowly down a private woods road and its so rough its not comfortable to wear the belt. Plus I don't know about you guys, but mine sometimes rings at me even when the sucker is in park! Whats up with that?!?
