Power sliding rear window...not really sliding
Hey guys,
So I've had my 2005 Lariet Supercrew for about a month now, and the other day I went to open my power rear sliding window...and nothing. No noise, no nothing. Anyhow, called the dealer to take it in, and of course the next morning I try to recreate the problem and it works fine. Took it in anyway and got it back without finding anything. Just wondering if anyone had had a similar problem that they were able to resolve? Thanks for the input.

Hey Texas,
I was having the same problem with mine intermittently. In July I took it in and they replaced the switch, smeared my interior with grease and scatched the drivers door for me. This took three days and the slider stopped working altogether a few days after that. Excellent!
Fast forward...........
This past Tuesday morning I dropped it off let them have another go at it since my factory warranty is about to be toast (35900 miles on her!). I get a call this afternoon (Thursday!) and he tells me that the motor had gone bad and they installed a new one. Then he goes on to tell me that the new motor "wasn't quite working right" and they need to get me another. This also took three days. Two ----->
He claims that another motor will arrive tommorrow and they'll give it another shot. The last botched attempt at service earned me not one, but two lovely Ford keychains in the mail. Thanks, I say.
I can't wait to see what I get this go around!
In hindsight, I would've just left that thing closed. I hope you have better luck than me!
