Over head console wiring ????

Over head console wiring ????

I'm putting a overhead console in my 98 lariat, so I'm wondering who has a manual handy or if there is a online one, the console is from a 2001 F 150 can any one direct me or help out with a wiring diaragram for the plug,I believe the pink + the blue are for the temp sensor

Here is what the 2001 Manual Says;

Connector C915

Pin 1 WH/LB Power (Hot in run)
Pin 2 BK/LB Ground
Pin 3 GY/BK Speed Signal
Pin 4 LB/RD Illumination
Pin 5 LB/OG Ambient Temperature Sensor Signal
Pin 6 PK/BK Ambient Temperature Sensor

Pins 7 to 12 is for Supercrew

Pin 7 BK/LB Illumination
Pin 8 LG/WH Illumination
Pin 9 BK Ground
Pin 10 BN/OG Roof Opening Panel
Pin 11 WH/RD Roof Opening Panel
Pin 12 TN/RD Roof Opening Panel


LB light Blue
WH white
BK black
GY grey
RD red
OG orange
BN brown
TN tan

Hey thanks MOE, just what i was looking for, but one quick question, Pin 3 GY/BK wire that goes to the Speed Signal what is the speed signal ?


And the LB/RD Illumination wire must go to the dimmer switch I take it right ?

Hi SKRWZ ; Pin 3 goes to C 243 Pin 22 which is the Generic Electronic Module (GEM). Don't know what it does, maybe it's a reset pulse for the temperature or compass??

Pin 4 Goes to C245 Pin 1, which eventually goes to the dimmer for the instrument illumination.

Ok, all I have is 2 quick questions, Is the factory power for this swicthed or un swithed and how do I caibrate the compas or do you have to??
