Odd headlight problem.

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm having a strange problem with the headlights in my 99 Lightning. At times when the headlights should be on (when I turn them on, or when they turn on automatically in low light), they do not turn on, but the high beam indicator remains lit constantly. The fog lights work normally though. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

My '03 is acting funny. I posted a thread earlier and was told too clean the contacts in the plug and then put bulb grease on'em. Mine would come on but would be very VERY dim....Only one side at a time. Gonna try the cleaning thing...Will let you know but sounds like you got something different.

I had the same problem with my headlights. I have projector style headlights with Eurolight Fusion bulbs. The bulbds burned out my wiring harness on both sides. So, i had to get a factory wiring harness from the dealer (about 35 bucks per side) and splice it in. I have since changed back to Sylvania superstars bulbs.... But both harnesess were fried crispy...
