electrical malady
I am having trouble with the electrical workings of the buttons on my doors.
The passenger side power window button, will power the window up but not down.
The drivers side door unlock button will not unlock either door but will lock both.
I had a passenger in the bed who told me that while riding with his back to the cab received small shocks.
Can someone here remedy this before I have to take it to the shop?
The truck is a 98 xlt 4.6

You have bad switch contacts on both buttons, they are either dirty or burnt, and if contact cleaner does not work then you will have to replace the switches. 
As for the guy in the back, tell him to come in out of the rain.
