Question Help Finding Power Seat Control Switch

Hopefully someone out there can answer a question about the control switch for the driver side power seat used in Ford cars/trucks for nearly a decade. I own a 96 Windstar, a 97 Explorer, and a 97 F250HD Turbo Diesel. All three use the same exact control switch for the driver seat. The control switch in my F250 shorted (bad placement and design). Found the problem when the batteries went completely dead. I checked the fuse panel and found that this circuit was protected by a circuit breaker not a fuse, I tried to remove the CB and severely burnt the tip of my fingers. Checked the control switch and found a broken button and removed it. The inside was black and charred. Guess I was lucky the truck didn’t go up in flames. I have spent MANY hours searching for an after factory switch on the Internet. I have found many sites that clamed to have it but not a single one actually did. I have tried all the Web based parts supply houses, eBay, etc. always with no luck. I know for a fact that I can buy door lock actuators, power window motors for my Windstar but the rear vent window motors, cargo hatch power lock actuator are DEALER only items. Ford wants $175 for the vent motors and $200 for the hatch lock actuator, parts only (I know because I paid for the hatch lock, this actuator could not have cost Ford more than $15, what a rip-off). So to make a long story short, is the power seat control a DEALER only item or is there an after factory replacement. I know that many of the members here are mechanics working at Ford dealerships and should know the answer to my question.
