horn beeps twice

anyone know a reason why my horn would beep twice when i arm the factory alarm/door locks.

it thinks your door is open like mine does occasionally? is your dome light turning off?

This may not apply, but my 2003 has always done that.

mine too (2001 screw). The manual for this stock alarm says it chirps a second time to verify the system is armed. Has it always done that?

according to his profile its a 97 like mine, and mine only chirps on me twice when it thinks the door is ajar. my dome lights dont turn off after the 20 sec timer or whatever it is when it chirps twice.
