Yes, I have an after market, it is a KARR brand and was installed at my dealer before I bought it. It uses the stock keyless entry. I also have the Keypad entry. My dealer installs it on all high dollar vehicles they have because of vehicle theft problems(so the say), and remove it if you do not want to keep it.

I am looking for anyone with the dealer installed alarm/keyless that can use the stick-on keypad? Not the integrated door unit, but the one you can buy to stick on that is actually a Fob with number pad.

Hi, you have the 'stick-on' type number pad? Which keyless entry did the dealer put in?
Thanks
Chris

The alarm system is by KARR. I do not know the brand of the keyless entry. It is about 5" long, black, with white numbers. It is a stick-on and I had it placed right above the door handle, tho they could have put it in the fender well, the bed lip or anywhere. Look in my gallery, i bet the pic there shows it.

I looked, the pic shows it but not very well, it is the white spot over the handle.

I see, you actually have the factory door locks, so the keypad doesn't work with the alarm. Even if it did, that's not really what I am trying to find out.

I want to add the keypad to a truck that didn't have the factory keyless remote, like your XLT came from the factory with.
I am trying to find someone with Dealer installed keyless entry/alarm. Not factory installed.
Thanks anyway, though
Chris

The keypad does work with the alarm. I can turn the alarm on or off with it.

Sorry, I guess I didn't make it clear. On a truck that has a keyless alarm, there is a RKE module that actually does the door actuators.
To add a compatible alarm to that, you 'junction' it to the RKE. Thus you are not opening the doors with the alarm module, you are still using the factory RKE module. This is a good way to do it, but it requires that you have the factory RKE system. Which is what I don't have, as my truck didn't even option a keyless system. Dealers put them in, using either generic brands, or if they are doing a good job, they use the Code-Alarm (Powercode) 'Ford' brand. Made by the Code-Alarm division of Audiovox.
I want to use the stick-on pad, so I hopefully can acquire a Code-Alarm keyless entry, and it will work. Or it won't. That's the thing I am trying to find. Someone must have tried this before, as it seems like a cool mod.
Again, thanks for any input.
Chris
