keypad reset question

My owners manual states my factory code is taped to the top of my computer, I need to reset the code. Where is this located on the vehicle. There is a computer looking gadget under the hood, but it only has a four digit number. Help! I'm new at this also!

Up under the dash on drivers side above e-brake. Greyish white box.

If you have the orignal owners manual. There should be a number on a sticker with it. Possible in the manual holder. If not it is as the other post said up under the drivers side of dash. It is a uncomrtable position but only takes about 1 minute to get the number.

Instructions are in the gallery in my signature. Look for the gallery called "RAP module location".

Sorry.... didn't realize I hadn't updated the gallery link. Sorry 'bout that. It should be better now.
