gauge panel change

Hey guys,

just a quick electrical question...

I have a 97 f150, and i would LOVE to be able to put the gauge cluster with the tach in it.. i already have one, now i need to figure out if i need a new wiring harness or does the truck already have one, and it is just not being used

Thanks

I changed mine out about a year ago. I found one on ebay with close to the same miles on it. It took a while, but if you don't care about what the odometer says, shouldn't take long. I think I payed right around 100.00 for mine. Mine was from a 1998 Expedition I think. Check ebay or a junk yard and see what you can find.

Nothing needs to be changed out. I know that the newer ones with the digital gauge will not work, or so that I was told. It took me about 2.5 hours to change mine out, but it went pretty smooth. I really enjoy having a tach, and it just looks nicer.

Just realized that you have one already. Sorry for the redundant comment, the computer controls the gauge for the rpms.
