Has been doing this for a couple of months, cannot find out what it is. At startup a series of beeps begins, 5 beeps 5 times with a distinct pause inbetween for a total of 25 beeps. It sounds just like the door ajar beep, not the seatbelt.

Please help.

 

The airbag light isn't on, is it?

The RCM beeps if it's detected a fatal fault with the module.

 

If the Airbag light on the dash burns out it will also cause the RCM to beep.

 

Indeed, it's probably the airbag light being burnt out. That's the only thing I can think of.... I think others have had that problem before. If you put the cluster into test mode (hold the trip odometer reset button in while starting the car, then continue to hold it for about 5 seconds) and check the bulbs. That should illuminate the airbag light (I think) unless it's toast.
