Question Tail Light Replacement - Cover Removal

New to the board - cool place!

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't get the cover off the right rear light (dead bulb). The two screws come out fine, but something else is holding the cover. I tried to remove the left rear cover - no success there either.

I'm sure it's something simple, but this first-timer is stumped. Thanks for the help!

theres like a small plastic lip thing on the bottom so that the housing can sit in the body panel opening.

pull the top of the light assembly housing towards you until the housing is at a 45 to the truck (bottom of housing still in truck, top of assembly 4" out of truck)... then lift straight up.

first time is always the most difficult.

Let us know if you still have any trouble.

Good luck.
