I have an 01 SuperCrew with a factory class 2 hitch and the round trailer socket. I need to install an a brake controller for my pop-up camper. Are there existing wires underneath the dash that already run back to the rear socket or do I have to run my own wires. Thanks Magoo

 

Hi magoo and welcome to the site! The round plug in back is already wired into the truck. You should have received a factory wire loom with plug on one end and cut wires on other end. This plugs in under the dash (drivers side) and the loose wires splice into your trailer brake controller. If you dont have this pigtail you can get it at any Ford dealer.
