Strange issue with Lights and keyless entry
Ok here is one for you wizards in electrical............
I have a 2000 F150 4x4 XLT. It has factory keyless entry. Here is the issue.
If I unlock the doors with the keyless entry during the day or under direct light the interior lighting and the exterior cargo lighs illuminate. This is as it should be.
Now the challange;
In the dark, when unlocking the doors the lights do not come on ever.
Local Ford dealer says this should not happen and as expected are more than willing to trouble shoot for a fee. First estimate was $350-$500.
I do not have access to wiring diagrams. Still looking for good service manual on CD, any suggestions on this appreciated as well.
If anyone has an idea or has experienced this your input would be appreciated.
