Turn Signal Flasher Unit
My turn signals stopped working and I cannot find the flasher unit for the life of me.
I have an F250 1998. Has a towing package from manufacturer.
Any help would be appreciated.
I found my emergency flasher and there were two units next to it. I pulled them but they were relays and my truck wouldn't start until I put them back.
I need help. People are flipping me off without them.

Acording to the ford service manual that is not to good at describing the flasher, it is located in a relay box with the blower motor relay. from what I can tell it is above the steering colomn I went out and listend to my 01 screw and I can hear it in that general area. suposidly it is an eletronic flasher that controls both the turnsignal and hazzard (4 ways)

They are not the regular flashers that look like a small tin can with two or three prongs coming out of it. These are relays with five or six prongs, they are located under the dashboard, to the right of the steering column, under a plastic cover that will not let you find them. So, turn on your flashers with the engine off and stick your head under the dashboard and find out where the clicking sound comes out of. There are two relays, one for the turn signals, one for the emergency flashers. Part #'s
Flasher F65B-13350-AA
turn sig F0AZ-14N089-A
Try to find the relays by following the clicking noise and trying somebody elses known good relays, if you decide to buy them, they are a dealer only item, about 15.00 bucks apiece. If you still can't find them, I can take a pic or two of the ones in my truck and post them tomorrow.
In my case, it was the turn signal switch bad, 149.00 for parts and labor.
I'll be in Tucson for Christmas, I got two weeks leave.

in the 2000 f350 the flasher relay is just to the left of the radio up in the dash i had to take the dash complety apart just to get to the damn thing it had a black plastic cover over the relay and the relay was blue goodluck
Hey, THANKS!!!
It was in front of my face under the steering wheel. It looks like a relay but it wasn't the unit at all. I replaced it and it still didn't work. I took shroud off the steering column and on the top was a harness connector. The connector had pulled away slightly from the plug. I pushed it back in place an what do you know everything works GREAT !!!!!!!!
Took me long enought to figure it out.
If anyone else has similar problem I hope this will help them out.
THANKS for being here
