I guess Robert Johnson aka "Lighting Survey" got his wish...

...at least with my FF50 Hella driving lights. They just started blinking intermitantly so I had to disconnect them so I can diagnose. Anything in particular to start with?

Another (related) problem I've had with Hella 550's in the past is a bad connection inside the lamp housing at the bulb. I now make sure both the hot and ground connections are well coated with dielectric grease. In your case though (with both lights blinking) I'd suggest you check the ground.
