PIAA Lights
PIAA Lights
It was a toss up between the off-road forum and electrical but no one checks the off-road forum so where we are!
I've decided to mount some PIAA lights to my rear bumper for those nights when I am backing up to a trailer and such. I've decided to go with PIAA lights and I have a few questions.
First off, PIAA has such an extensive product line, I don't even know where to look. I want something pretty damn light but I'm not looking to spend $350. I'm looking to spend $150 on ebay maybe a little more.
As for the mounting location, I've got two ideas. My '99 F-150 has tabs under the bumper for a bracket for easy installation of lights or what not. I know this would be the easiest rout but I was wondering if I could possibly mount the lights in my rear bumper. As you can see in my kick *** picture, the blue dots are where the mounting tabs are on the bumper and the green dots are where I could cut out the holes in the bumper and mount the lights some how. I can cut the hole and all that jazz myself but I was wondering if anyone knew of a trim ring or something to make the lights look likely they belong there.
