No Keyless Entry

I have a 94 F150 4x4 that came with no keyless entry. All it has is the power locks and the key. Can I buy an OEM keyless entry system for my truck? If so, where?

I know you're a big sport sticking w/OEM and Ford parts, but it would be much cheaper and easier to bring it into a local car alarm shop and get them to hook up a cheapie RKE. You should be able to walk out w/it installed (BY THEM) and two new fobs for about $150.

Naw Tony, the OEM thing was me - and the word is ****.

You dyed in the wool Ford guys will have to forgive me if what I found with my 99 does not apply to Presto's 94. On my 99, I'm missing the Security Control Module. I'm told its beige or white and is mounted about an inch forward of the fuse block, or just above the parking break. Sure enough, there is a mounting bracket ith screws and an empty 1 inch square rectangular connecter with nothing on it.

My sticking point is that there appear to be about 4 different flavors of SCM out there. I suspect that some of the variations have the keyless pad inputs. Prices range from a low of $30 to a high of $120 for parts online. I'm going to dig around locally to see if I can find a match. As soon as I'm successful, I intend to write a quick How-To and submit to the admin for posting.

Preto, Ford makes an aftermarket add on keyless entry for your truck. Its a black keypad sticks on the door with 3-m tape and looks factory. Its programmed to your keyless entry system and is a steal at 99 bucks installed..see your dealer.

I got asked this so much, I just broke down and stuffed my camera up my F150's dash a$$ to take a picture of my CSM for ya!! FWIW...the red circled area is the factory PIN for the door entry keypad. The CSM in my vehicle has 2 plugs (C270a and C270b). The T-Tap connectors are for the aftermarket FORD Vechicle Secuirty and Keyless Entry module (black box at very top of pic). I use those FOBs and not the fobs that came w/ the truck to lock/unlock (I could however used the OEM fobs to arm/disarm the alarm if I chose too).

Here is a pic of where the Security Module SHOULD go in a 99 F150 XLT Supercab.
