Keyless - do I have it?
I just bought a 97 F150 and was wondering how I can tell if this vehicle has keyless option ? is programming a remote a do it yourself thing? thanks in advance.

Cycle your key from off to run 8 times with 10 seconds..
If the doorlocks "lock" and then "unlock" quickly, you have a keyless entry system on your truck. Or if you would rather see the module, look under dash from drivers side looking to the hinge pillar and see if you can locate a box with a 5 digit # on it.
If so, then you got it!!
Follow the same 8 times in 10 seconds deal to program the key fobs. If you have difficulties programming, there are numerous threads on this procedure all over this site.
