i just bought a 2001 f-150 xl.
i have a couple of questions.
under the dash by the hood release there is a switch that has 3 positions, normal heat,off and low heat. whgat is this switches story? i have never seen this before.

next, the 15amp fuse for my cruise and heater has blown twice? s this a known thing to happen and what should i check?

are there any other problems to check and watch for with these trucks? mechanically and electrically?
