Wires on back of coin holder

Does anyone know what the wires on the back of the coin holder on the dash of a 2004 f150. Just curious.

F 150s that have the 4WD option.
The 4WD mode switch takes the place of that coin thing.

I have actually seen 2WD vehicles with a 4WD switch.
Weird huh?

to remove the coin holder on the dash next to the steering whell on a 2004 F150?
