Turn Signals

This might be a stupid question, but maybe someone else has the same problem. Its my turn signals, I have trouble hearing the blinking noise, and I keep forgeting that they are on and im driving around looking like an old man with my turn signals on all day. Can I just go to an Auto Parts Store and ask for a louder flasher that will work? Or am I just stuck? Do they make an extra loud flasher? How do I know its loud before I hook it up? Most electrical auto parts are not refundable.

JC Whitney sells a flasher that they call "Extra-Loud".

It's only $6 plus shipping.
