Signal lights shorting out

The left and right turn signals on my 2002 F150 Supercrew are not working. Fuses are ok. At first it seemed like a pinched wire, because the tilt level used to affect it when I would move the steering wheel down or up. Sometimes they will work when I turn my wheel. Now I have to press on the brake and manually move them half way up and down to get them to work. Has anyone had this problem or even heard of it. The manual arm blinkers are getting tired!

sounds like you have the "Multi-Function Switch" (AKA "MFS")problem...lots of info on here about fixing it...the search is your friend.

Welcome to F150Online!!

Cool

Just in case you have difficulty in using the search button:

Search of the Electrical forum with MFS* as the criteria...
