99 ABS light questions

I have a 99 supercab with the 5.4. Riding down the road today, the ABS light came on out of nowhere. When I cut the car off and cut it back on, the light goes out, but when I started going, it comes right back on. I do not have the owner's manual for my truck., so could someone tell me what is going on? I have to tow my car to the track Sunday, but not if the ABS is messed up!
HELP!

It won't hurt to drive the truck with the ABS light on.
The brake system design is not to disable regular braking just becaue the ABS has a fault.
Trust me, only the ABS feature is OD.

4fit?

If you do some searching around here you will find alot of people have had the speed sensor on the rear diff. go out. It cost about $22 at the dealership. It took me about 5 minutes to change it, just loosen one bolt unplug, then plug the new one in and tighten the bolt.

My ABS light was on and it solved it.
