Heater Control Lights Out

The lights in at the heater controls from my 99 f150 sc are out. Actually they've been out for about a week or so but part of them would work after a skillfully placed palm to the dash. If I hit it just right I'd get all of them to work. If I was close, I would get the left half to work. Anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Loose connections?

I don't think it's loose connections.
I believe the bulbs are burned out and you have a gift.
I urge you to consider a career in television evangelicalism.

As funny as Raoul is, he's right on this one. I took out the controls and there are two bulbs back there. Both of which were burnt out.
