i have a 98 f150 supercab xlt 4x4 4.6 ltr

how can i turn off the check engine light i know theres a way of doing it. i just reached 100k miles and im sure its time to tune it up maintnance time but i already did it at 90k. please the lite bugs me.

 

no it not because of miles/ maintanence.
take it to an autopart store and have it read for free.

 

thanks i took the truck to schucks auto supply and they did a free test and found out it was a sensor in the exhaust pipe i replaced it and the engine light is gone.
