Can anyone help as my Service Engine Light is On!, i took it for a 25k service as it was due for one, when i took it in to the garage they told me that it was a cam sensor that had moved maybe because i hit a bump. The morning after the light came on again, so i took it back, and they told me the code was a P0340 and it would cost £65 per hour to check the fault with a view to a whole day checking it. Does anyone know what it is, or how to fix it?

 

P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
These are known to go bad. try the search feature here you will get a lot of info.
