what is this wire for?

what is this wire for?

Under my dash near the gem box and all that there is some sort of wire harness

its at the top there and not plugged into anything... any idea what that goes to or is for?

It looks like the connector that is used when you install a brake controller. It is where the adapter harness ties in. Maybe?

It's the power pedal connector. From this connector, a wire harness runs to the motor located on the adjustable brake/gas pedals.

The brake controller is located to the "RIGHT" of the steering column.

wow ok these f150's are awesome because there so universal! you can do just about anythign with them, wire harness's all over these things waiting for upgrades! wierd thing is my dads xlt doesnt have adjustable pedals but his wire harness like the one i put int he picture.. his is connected to something its not open like that one... but yet he has no adjustable pedals :-/ but oh well.. thanks for the reply :-D
