Adding keyless entry
My 98 F-150 XLT didn't come with the remote keyless entry system from the factory. Does anyone know, or has anyone added a stock factory keyless entry system to a truck that didn't come with one? Is the wiring harness the same on a truck with or without it, will it just 'plug in'? Thanks

If you only want Keyless Entry, I seriously suggest you just look at getting an alarm system installed, even if all they hook up is the door open/close circuits.
See a local car audio shop. It's probbably the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way.....ASSUMING you have power locks already....
