heater blower runs full speed with key off

I have a 02 SCrew FX4 Lariat. Whenever I turn the ignition off the blower fan runs full speed and the only way to stop it is to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery. Has anybody out there had this problem and/or know any solutions?

It started about a week ago so I replaced the battery and everything was fine until this afternoon and it started doing it again. It has rained here off and on for about the last month. The problem hasn't seemed real consistant with the rain, so to answer your question, I don't know.
