Difficult to install the Auto Headlight option?

I wish my truck had the auto on/off headlight option. I have seen the kit available for about $70 somewhere. I think that is without the switch. And while checking out another thread, I saw that "LightningCrew" just happens to have a switch he is looking to sell.

Has anyone installed this option themselves?

Thanx!

I installed the Ford auto light kit on my wifes '01 Sport Trac. It comes with the optical sensor, which mounts on the dash & the delay module that mounts under the dash. The kit uses the existing light switch. The delay adjustment is on the module. Kit price from Ford was about $59.

WOW. Sounds pretty straight forward. Maybe I will have to give that a try. The kit wasnt too expensive when I saw it.

Thanx!

Thanx for the link Lee. It seems to be an easy install.

Maybe I can even get some parts from a salvage yard to help make it even cheaper.
