cgorris or others AFTERMARKET actuator questions

my lock actuators took a crap on me, after reading up on the site(using the "SEARCH" button ) this seems like a usual problem. i found that cgorris had recomended picking up a set of aftermarket actuators and replacing with them due to cost reasons. i definatley could handle the cost break, but where can i get decent aftermarket actuators? any links? anyone else go aftermarket upon replacing? any problems? if i can replace with a good set that will be cheaper then replacing with a ford part, and preform better i don't think i can lose!

if anyone knows how to contact cgorris i would greatly appreciate it!!!

thanks
andy

I go to ebay for almost everything that I don't know where to buy...just search for a door lock actuator there. Might even find a direct replacement if you add f-150 to the search.

Good luck

any stereo store that sells security and does installs will have doorlock motors.
if you cant find any i'll be more than happy to sell you a couple for around US$15.00 each plus shipping...
