LED taillights..blinker too fast!!!

I purchased some replacement led lights for my bulbs in my tail lights (3517 bulbs) and they seem to work fine except now my blinker blinks twice as fast. It this a relay issue and if so where is the relay located and what do I need to replace it with?

Thanks

Steve

OK well I got the answer. There is less load with the LEDs so the blinker goes faster. I need to change out the relay. I have heard it is under the dash behind the lighter. Anyone know how to get to it?

not sure how to get to it, but there was something online I saw about a device that you wire inline near the bulb ( I am assumming it is just a resistor of some sort) that will give it the correct flash .. I think it was a couple bucks

Just consider it a mod! People pay good money to get the the aftermarket blinker kits that make them blink faster!
