Dash connector identification help needed
Our 1999 XLT Supercab has a gray connector under the dash just below the hood release. The connector has two male pins with a pair of red wires going to one and a pair of green wires on the other pin. My Haynes wiring diagram doesn't seem to show this.
Does anyone know what this connector is for?
(It's not the trailer brake connector - we are using that one.)
The truck has electric 4WD, power windows, locks, keyless entry with alarm, etc. but no power seat, CD changer, or autolamp. Also. door handle does not have a keypad. 4.6 engine with automatic.
Aside from the brake controller and a K&N air filter the truck is stock.
I'm just curious. Thanks.
