What is this wire harness!

Behind the driver side kick panel there is a wiring harness just sitting there..
here are the pics of it..

there it is.. if u look at the other pics in that directory i have a few more (just incase u cant tell from that one there) anyway if anyone has any idea what that wire harness is for that'd be great! (i was hoping maybe it was for power doorlocks and windows (if i got the setup for that) thanks

You are in luck. It looks like connector F248. it comes from the Central jubction box and the male side of it goes to the power windows and power door locks switches. Can you get the wire colors and the pin locations. Turn the connector over from the way you have it in the picture, you have it upside down, and the pins are numbered starting from the left. The top row is pin 1-3-5-7 and bottom row 2-4-6-8. There should be only 6 wires in the connector.

You will need the wire harness form a truck with the power windows, or you can pay through the nose form a dealer. A truck with the power door locks usually has the power windows and mirrors. What exactly are you wanting to do?

well.. iw ant to swithc out my door panels from the xlt so i can put the power window regulators and door lock acuators (which ive alrady installed from my alarm setup) and i dont want an aftermarket setup (swtiches and stuff) i want it to be nice and clean so i figure getting the factory door panels from the xlt is the way to go. I have a Reg. Cab Flairside XL Sport.. i dont really care for power mirrors much,, though for a mod id like to put the factory ford power mirror covers that have the turn signal.. but the main thing is the power windows/doorlocks...

That is what I thought. Whar about electric window motors and the GEM, if you don't already have one?

nah pretty sure it doesnt come with the motor or anything .. but for the most part everything thats in the cab of the truck has the option for something else.. like fog lights.. its already wired for teh factory fogs, im sure setting up an overhead console will not be that hard either.. but i definilty want to do the power windows and doorlocks
