I have a 1989 f150 5.0 that wont start. I disconected the ignition switch relay from ignition actuator/rod and I can use a screw driver to start the motor. Once I got it started I could not get it out of park even though the steering wheel was unlocked. I could turn the ignition lock all the way forward with out a key so this will have to be replaced for sure. Any ideas on why I cant get it out of park?
