Airbag questions

Thanks for any info on the following, I really appreciate it.

When replacing deployed airbags on a 97 F150, do the crash sensors up front need to be replaced?

Also, does a 32 flash when the driver bag is not installed or does the clockspring really need to be replaced, the Cruise and Horn work fine. Would like to go ahead and do it if I need to before installing the bag. I know some people replace clock spring irregardless, is this necessary?

Also, how often do the seat belt pretensioners have to be replaced after a deployment?

Thanks!

Whenever any airbag is deployed, the entire system needs to be replaced. That includes crash sensors, the RCM, the bags themselves, and depending on whether they went tense or not, the pretensioners. I guess if for whatever reason, if an airbag deployed at random, you could theoretically replace just that bag in question; all the jobs I've done have had the car hit hard enough to close the sensors and set 'em off, so I had to replace everything.
